Where do the products of Tamr Henna come from?

Our products are carefully produced in our factory located in Marrakech, Morocco. 

How will I know if the Argan Oil is pure?  

Pure Argan Oil is known for its raw, and unique scent because it comes from the seed/kernel inside the Argan nut, and when applied to the skin, it spreads very quickly and is absorbed immediately, and the scent will disappear.   It has a golden yellow color, so it has been named “Morocco’s Liquid Gold.” The texture is smooth and silky, not dark, sticky, slimy, or watery.  It is essential to ensure the product comes from a reputable Brand, the ingredients list should explicitly state "Pure Argan Oil" or its scientific name “Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil” and not include any additions.

What are Essential Oils?

Essential oils are concentrated plant-based oils made by steaming or pressing various parts of a plant (roots, stems, flowers, bark, or fruit). Several pounds of a plant are required to produce a single essential oil bottle. The therapeutic properties of essential oils have long been known to promote health and well-being.   

Tamr Henna blended essential oils with natural ingredients to create a luxurious, authentic experience inspired by nature using essential oils found in the native plants of Morocco, like Verbena, lemon,  orange, and mint essential oils. We have a wide selection of products that relies on 100% essential oil allowing you to enjoy the natural perfume while getting all the benefits. 

Do your products contain parabens, aluminum, silicones, sulfate, and mineral oil?

No, we do not use harsh chemicals on our products.  

Kindly define sulfate, paraben, and mineral oil and the reasons for not using them in our product.

Sulfates are ingredients that create the foaming effect of shampoos and shower gels for example and that help rid the skin and hair of soiling. At the same time, though, might deplete natural oils. Leading to dryness. Parabens are a family of related chemicals that are commonly used as preservatives in cosmetic products. Mineral Oil although has moisturizing properties, may actually lead to dryness and irritation over time.   According to some studies, these synthetic chemicals are potentially harmful to our health.

Beeswax is a luxury and expensive ingredient that is the best alternative to low-quality moisturizing ingredients that may cause dryness and irritation.

Beeswax is a natural wax produced by worker honey bees. Like honey, beeswax has many natural benefits.

This natural wax has healing, nourishing, and anti-inflammatory properties. It has moisturizing components, locks in moisture, and helps keep the skin firm. It exfoliates repairs damage, promotes the skin's regeneration, diminishes the appearance of the signs of aging, soothes itchiness and irritation, and creates a hydrating, long-lasting protective barrier against environmental pollutants. 

What is the difference between Beeswax and Mineral Oil?

We use beeswax because it's a natural substance generated and secreted by honey bees and is safe for most people.  Beeswax provides a protective barrier between the skin and the environment without blocking pores.  It has anti-inflammatory properties.  Because mineral oil is derived from petroleum, it may clog the pores and suffocate the skin.

Is animal testing carried out for Tamr Henna Products?

There are no tests carried out on animals on our products.

Why you don't use sulphate in your products?  

Sulphates are cleansing and foaming chemicals that can harm your skin because they are full of salts and other chemicals that damage your body's natural fats and remove the moisture in the skin that keeps your skin happy and healthy. We use only plant-based rich in natural ingredients that are gentle to the skin.

What is GMO, and why your Products are Non-GMO?

A GMO, or genetically modified organism, is a plant, animal, microorganism, or other organism whose genetic makeup has been modified in a laboratory using genetic engineering or transgenic technology. This creates combinations of plant, animal, bacterial, and virus genes that do not occur in nature or through traditional crossbreeding methods. There are risks associated with GMOs in Beauty products.

Here at Tamr Henna, all of our products are non-GMO. We offer a variety of natural products, mostly Argan oil blended with natural ingredients such as saffron, honey, sweet almond oil, apricot seed oil, and natural fragrances derived from essential oils that provide comforting aromas scent. our nature can greatly benefit one's beauty, health, and well-being. 

Shea butter is the ivory-colored fat extracted from the nuts of the shea tree. In ancient Egypt, it is said that Queen Cleopatra used shea butter for her skin. She always kept jars of pure, unrefined shea butter on hand. Shea butter is rich in vitamins, it hydrates and deeply nourishes the skin, and acts as a protective film for the lips. In addition, it helps reduce stretch marks and wrinkles and intensely moisturizes very dry skin and hair.

What does Verbena scent like, and why do you use it in your products?

Our Verbena essential oil is extracted from the native Verbena plant in Morocco. Verbena is a fragrant plant with an enchanting lemon-citrus scent reminiscent of the scent of luxury, allowing you to relax and rejuvenate. Verbena has anti-aging properties, detoxifies, brightens skin, soothes, and removes impurities from the skin. Its high concentration of antioxidants and therapeutic properties helps reduce stress and anxiety. 

What are the ingredients in our product that will help in brightening and lightening? 

Honey and orange  lemon and mint  essential oil are known for their brightening and whitening properties.

What age range the product is suitable for?

Pure Argan Cosmetic Argan Oil is safe to use from Birth.  However, our other products are suitable and ideal for teenagers and adults.

What are the benefits of orange essential oil? Does it help with brightening?

The essential oil of orange helps in reducing depigment and brighten the skin effectively.

Does any of our product help to reduce ‘strawberry skin’? 

Exfoliating your skin on a regular basis with the Nourishing Sugar Body Scrub, and moisturizing by applying precious oils like Refreshing Oil Argan and Verbena and Oriental Oil Musk & Rose, or Shea Butter Balm will help reduce of strawberry skin

What should I do if my order has not been delivered yet?
